Mechanical Engineering · University of Maryland
Hi, I’m Evan Lubarsky.
I am a Junior mechanical engineering student at the University of Maryland, graduating May 2028. Experienced in SOLIDWORKS and Onshape CAD, Python, C/C++ and Arduino programming, electromechanical prototyping, and manufacturing methods including 3D printing, laser cutting, and manual milling. I am especially interested in manufacturing and production engineering, where design decisions meet materials, assembly, and repeatability.

Getting Involved with High-Power Rocketry.
I recently joined the Terrapin Rocket Team, a student-run, cross-disciplinary organization at the University of Maryland that designs, builds, and launches high-power rockets for the International Rocket Engineering Challenge. I’m looking forward to getting involved in the team’s design and build work while taking on new mechanical design and fabrication challenges.
